Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"I’ve had the cinnamon toast crunch flavor but this time I tried fruity pebbles x fruit loops and it was so good! I think it’s one of my favorite ice cream flavors now and it also helps the ice cream looks like rainbow magic! All the cereal boxes on the wall is really nostalgic. Keep in mind there is no seating so it’s grab and go kind of place!"
"Wowowowowow! I got a count chocula milkshake and was hit with instant nostalgia of waking up early to watch saturday morning cartoons. This place is a fantastic ice cream spot and the portions are quite large for what you pay. You can definitely taste the cerael flavours in the ice cream."
"Great little ice cream place in Toronto. There are only 7 ice cream flavours to choose from despite their being a wall display of about 40 cereal boxes. The price is $6.99 per cup. The shop is small and there are no tables or seating avail, not sure if that is because of Covid or not? Overall, the ice cream was very good but you’re really going for the experience of cereal ice cream!! So cool"
"Really unique dessert spot in Toronto. It’s impressive that they’ve mastered accuracy in flavor in all their icecreams. The cookie monster was really good, naturally, you might end up with blue tooth - definitely worth it. The cinnamon toast crunch was also a great option. Overall, I think the only thing that would make Cereal Box Cafe is if they had a seating area. It is a smaller space though, so it’s quite understandable why there are no chairs, so definitely keep in mind that its takeout style. The spoon dispenser is very convenient and sanitary. I will definitely be visiting Cereal Box Cafe soon!"
"Cereal Box Cafe is a fantastic addition to downtown Toronto's dessert scene! Their innovative concept of transforming beloved cereals into soft-serve ice cream is pure genius. The texture is wonderfully light and fluffy, and the sweetness is perfectly balanced. My visit was simply amazing – The Froot loops X Fruity Pebbles was amazing and Froasted flakes X cinnamon toast #CerealBoxCafe #SweetDelights #TorontoEats"
"The girl who helped me redeem my birthday offer was super sweet. She even put a candle in my ice cream! I wish they had an uptown location. Their concept is the perfect mashup of two of my favourite things - soft serve and cereal. I would come here all the time if they had a location closer to me! Also love that they have more soft serve flavours now. Highly recommend the strawberry soft serve + Strawberry Milkshake Frosted Flakes"
"I tried the Apple Jacks x Cinnamon Toast Crunch ice cream and really loved the nostalgic flavours delivered in a cold creamy treat. I'm not totally sure how it's made but it looks like they use some machine where they combine the cereal you order and whip it into the soft serve. In any event, I got the distinct cereal flavours in the ice cream and also enjoyed the crunchy dusting and pieces of actual cereal on top. The ice cream itself was rich and creamy. Staff are very nice and the space is clean. Make sure you take a picture of the huge cereal wall!"
"This is a really unique concept of cereal infused ice cream. It’s a small place but it has some inside space to eat your ice cream if it’s rainy outside. Their wall of cereals is pretty cool. I was craving something chocolaty and the person recommended the s’mores flavor. The cup was quite generous in size and I appreciated the torched marshmallow on the side. At first, I was a bit surprised as there some a lot of crunchy pieces in my ice cream. I thought it was some ice pieces but no, it was actual pieces of cracker that were mixed in the ice cream. It added extra texture and made it more interesting. The ice cream was really nice and smooth and creamy, which made it easy to spoon it. I enjoyed my treat. I wish it were more chocolaty. They change their flavors on a regular basis. I did not wait long for my ice cream."
